The federal government is cracking down hard on statewide marijuana grows. Four U.S. Attorneys are spear-heading a campaign that will shut down commercial dispensaries and large-scale outdoor grows. The U.S. Attorneys stood in solidarity.
“Commercial marijuana operations are illegal and we will enforce federal laws,” said U.S. Attorney Ben Wagner.
These prosecutors are threatening to shut down dispensaries and massive outdoor grows.
“We are not focused on backyard grows. We are targeting commercial operations,” said Wagner.
Outside in Sacramento there were protestors holding up signs fighting for state’s rights. One local attorney, Brenda Linder, who represents some dispensaries says “The bottom line is the federal government can enforce federal statute. We’ve always known that. And I thought they weren’t going to waste federal resources to go after this.”

Funny how the Federal Government likes to pick and choose which laws to enforce. This is a clear waist of money and effort by the Federal Government and it is time to tell them to stop! How about all of the immigration laws that are not being enforced by the Federal Government? States along the boarder with Mexico should go after the Federal Government for not enforcing immigration laws and going out of their way to sidestep them.
