UN environmental initiative is the Tea Party’s new nightmare

Tea Party activists have started to sound the alarms over a United Nations initiative most Americans have never heard of, but one that many in the movement see as one of the greatest threats to America’s sovereignty.
“Americans are so focused on Congress and Obama at the federal level of government right now that most are overlooking the socialism creeping in at the local level through Agenda 21,” the Tea Party publication the Tea Party Tribune warned readers on July 2.
Agenda 21 is a UN initiative that 178 governments at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) adopted in 1992 under the auspices of saving the environment. It bills itself as a coordinated plan of action to help nations and local government ensure “sustainability.”
“Agenda 21 is a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups in every area in which human impacts on the environment,” the U.N. website explains.

Here the program is called “Compact.” Every county has a sustainable development program being implemented with it’s own name. They are all following the rules of ICLEI (International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives, today the group simply calls itself ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability. In 1992, ICLEI was one of the groups instrumental in creating Agenda 21. To save the American enviroment we need to cut off water, electricity, heating …and money going to the un Building and recycle the occupants as furtilizer.
It is nice to see some rather large organization indirectly acknowledge what Alex Jones attempted to bring to our attention in his first documentary back in the mid 90′s about what the U.N. was doing, what the U.S. had allowed them to do, and what restrictions were already starting against us back then that was growing. I do not remember the name of that first documentary, but I am sure most people here know of Alex Jones and others have heard of him. His works are rather easy to come across so if you have not seen what he was attempting to warn us about this way back then, I highly recommend it so you will be able to see that this is something that did not just start up, but rather was well hidden inside all the glitter of distractions given to us decade after decade.
