McCain says he won’t watch HBO adaptation of ‘Game Change’

Former presidential candidate and Republican Arizona Sen. John McCain said in an interview on “Fox News Sunday” he has no plans to watch Ed Harris’ depiction of him in HBO’s upcoming film “Game Change.”
“He’s a very fine actor and a great actor,” McCain said of Harris. “I obviously haven’t read the book, so I don’t think I’ll be watching the film.”
“Game Change,” which will be based on a book with the same name on the 2008 presidential election by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, has cast “A Beautiful Mind” actor Harris as McCain and “The Kids Are All Right” star Julianne Moore as McCain’s vice presidential running mate, Sarah Palin. According to Politico, McCain comes across as a “deeply flawed” candidate in the book.
